‘Jimmy Shine’ confirmed for this years show!

We are pleased to announce that we have confirmed the attendance of Jimmy Shine to our 2017 Hot Rod & Custom Auto Expo!

“JIMMY SHINE” – Born James D. Falschlehner, October 23, 1970, grew up in the suburbs of Orange County, California, among a family that was heavily influenced by all things mechanical and engine-driven.  Namely, his dad Denny, mum Lynn and brothers Jon & Ned comprise the core.  Jimmy’s dad was a hot rodder, drag racer, off road bike racer and also did some time with boats.  Shine first cut his teeth in the auto industry as an aspiring hot rodder during the ‘80s.  Cars were still reasonably priced and Jimmy was lucky to have his dad who helped get him started.

The years after high school found Jimmy knocking around and honing his skills working in various hot rod and bike shops before landing a job at SO-CAL Speed Shop in June ’97. Jimmy’s early days at SO-CAL found him working alongside many very talented craftsmen.

Jimmy’s introduction to the world of television began in the early ‘90’s starting with a couple of specials for the Discovery Channel, a new series centered around Jimmy called “HARDSHINE” and other shows that soon followed were “WEAPONIZER’S” and two seasons of “CAR WARRIORS” (featuring George Barris and Mad Mike) and the first episode of the yet-to-be-titled series that features Billy F. Gibbons from the rock band ZZ Top.

With Jimmy’s business growing at a steady pace, Jimmy and his wife Nikki decided to take the investment from the sale of his ’34 Ford Truck and invest it in the “Jimmy Shine Work Shop” located in Orange, California.

Be sure to make it to our show to meet Jimmy and see his expertise in action. Jimmy will be on the Baileigh Machinery trade stand performing live demonstrations and meet and greet sessions.

Welcome to the show Jimmy! We look forward to hosting you.
